Our Plants

Our plants mainly belong to the "Coratina" variety, which is native to our Region, in addition to the Leccino and Frantoio varieties, which date back to the first plantings of the last century and which are well suited to our calcareous soils.

At Podere 110, the olive cultivation cycle is carried out by using organic cultivation criteria, in order to ensure a product free from any pesticide. Furthermore, the olives are constantly monitored during the ripening phase and picked at the beginning of veraison to best express the aromas and characteristics of the fruit and to contain the acidity levels. The olives are then partly grazed by hand and partly harvested through mechanical processes.

We then rely on cold pressing, in a continuous cycle

by combining traditional cultivation methods with modern technologies in order to respect the life cycles of the plant and the sustainability of the ecosystem.

Olive oil introduces into our body oleic acid, carotenes, tocopherol, vitamin E, and many other phenolic compounds which help our body to have a balanced development and to slow down aging.
